Easy Homemade Ice Cream (No Machine Needed)
Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional mix-ins (chocolate chips, crushed cookies, fruit, etc.)

Instructions:
- Prepare the Base:
- In a large mixing bowl, pour in the heavy cream.
- Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer with the whisk attachment, whip the cream until stiff peaks form. This will take about 3-4 minutes.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract into the whipped cream until well combined. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream too much. This will greatly improve your finished product
- Add Mix-ins (Optional):
- If desired, gently fold in your choice of mix-ins to your Homemade Ice Cream, such as chocolate chips, crushed cookies, or fruit. Make sure they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

- Transfer to a Container:
- Pour the ice cream mixture into a freezer-safe container. A loaf pan or shallow dish works well for this. Smooth the top with a spatula.
- Freeze:
- Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap to prevent ice crystals from forming on the surface of your Homemade Ice Cream.
- Place the container in the freezer and let the ice cream freeze for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight, until it is firm.
- Serve:
- Once the Homemade Ice Cream is fully frozen, remove it from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly for easier scooping.
- Scoop the homemade ice cream into bowls or cones and serve immediately.
- Enjoy your delicious and creamy homemade ice cream!

Homemade Ice Cream Tips:
- For a richer flavor to your Homemade Ice Cream, you can substitute some of the heavy cream with an equal amount of Greek yogurt or mascarpone cheese.
- Experiment with different flavors by adding extracts (such as mint or almond) or other flavorings (such as cocoa powder or instant coffee).
- If you want your ice cream to have a softer texture, you can add a tablespoon or two of alcohol (such as vodka or rum) to the mixture before freezing. Just be aware that too much alcohol can prevent the ice cream from freezing properly.
- Make sure your freezer is set to its coldest setting to ensure the ice cream freezes properly.
- Leftover ice cream can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Just be sure to cover it tightly to prevent freezer burn.
