What the heck is this thing?
If you came across this device, would you recognize its purpose?
Maybe for measuring spaghetti? No
Maybe for sewing? Nope
An herb stripping tool is a kitchen utensil designed to quickly and efficiently remove the leaves or stems from herbs, such as rosemary, thyme, or cilantro.
It is especially useful when you want to separate the flavorful leaves from the tough stems of herbs before using them in cooking.
Herb stripping tools typically have multiple holes or slots of varying sizes that allow you to insert the stem of the herb through and strip off the leaves with a simple pulling motion.
This helps save time and ensures that you get the most flavor from the herb leaves without including the less palatable stems.
Different Type of Herb Strippers
There are various designs of herb stripping tools available, and some may also have additional features such as integrated knives or brushes for cleaning the herbs.
Using an herb stripping tool can be a convenient and efficient way to prepare herbs for your culinary creations.
