“Time to make the donuts!” Such an unforgettable catchphrase when Dunkin Donuts actually still made their goodies in-house & they were fresh & good. As kids we used to like watching the donuts being made by hand through the big glass window inside. Nowadays they are made in a factory & trucked in semis to your local Dunkin Donuts locations. I was told by a shipping manager a few years ago that there were only a few locations in Wisconsin that still made them in-house, perhaps those are gone by now. They’re just not good & fresh anymore so we don’t buy them let alone pay around $15/dozen! I remember when they were $2.69/dozen, about all they’re worth.

“Don’t squeeze the Charmin!” and “Where’s the beef?!” also are well remembered slogans.
